New “Suicide Squad” Trailer Is out

The new trailer for the upcoming anti-hero film the “Suicide Squad” is out!

The trailer gives us an introduction to the lead characters and shed some light into the origin story of the Suicide Squad aka Task Force X. However, in my opinion (and you’ll probably agree with me), it’s still a little too early to call this a hit or a miss.

The cinematography is a huge relief as it looks similar to Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise, as opposed to the Man of Steel film.

Like many of you, there’s only three things I’m looking forward to seeing; the first is Batman’s role in this film; the second is the interpretation of the infamous “The Joker” aka “Mister J”; and the third are the action sequences.

The film written and directed by David Ayer stars Academy Awards winner Jared Leto (The Joker) and Academy Awards nominee Will Smith (Floyd Lawton/Deadshot). The cast is rounded out by Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).

I’ll be looking out for the follow-up trailer. The film is not yet rated and is scheduled for release in theatres August 5, 2016.
